Brexit-What a song & dance
is a fictitious tale inspired by the real-life events portrayed in the form of a musical.

Throughout, you will see the battles between the Leave Campaign of Nigel Farage, Boris Johnson and Michael Gove against the Remain Campaign of David Cameron, Nick Clegg and Jeremy Corbyn.

Narrated by the well-known political correspondent Laura Kuenssberg, you will follow the stories of several individuals in the musical involved in this tale: the lies and deceit of Nigel Farage; the cowardice and self-indulgent sorrow of David Cameron; the incompetence and stubbornness of the Maybot that is Theresa May, and her ‘special relationship’ with king of the narcissists, Donald Trump.

Based in Zurich Switzerland, Jamie Langridge is a Swiss/British composer and lyricist of various styles of theatrical music with influences from Max Richter, Gershwin, Sondheim, Tori Amos and modern musicals.

Sarah is an experienced and inspirational drama practitioner, director and writer who has been working within arts, training and education (both mainstream and outside of school) for 25 years. In addition to her freelance work she is Artistic Director of Yew Tree Youth Theatre and Yew Tree Arts Ltd.
